Influencing and Persuading
How do you get things done when you don't have authority over the people you need?
The answer, of course, is by influencing and persuading them. This is one of those lifelong skills that we never stop learning and will always be useful. Yet we learn surprisingly little about the techniques we can use, during our standard formal education.
So, let's put that right!
This is our course on Influencing and Persuading.
It is in five sections

The Book of the Course!
Influence and Persuasion: A Management Courses Introduction
How can you get things done when you don't have authority over the people you lead? The answer, of course, is by influencing and persuading them.
When I first realised I needed these skills, as a junior manager in a consulting firm, I started reading about them voraciously. While there are a lot of books, few are good. Some are complex, science-based, and a hard place to start. Many are easy to read and filled with nonsense. I would have loved an introductory book that was easy to read and based in solid research. If only one were available.
So, let's put that right!
This Management Courses Introduction has 28 chapters, each covering a sound approach to influence and persuasion, in an easy-to-read way.
