LESSON NOTES
============
Motivation boost performance, productivity, and effectiveness. It is everyone’s responsibility but, more than anyone else, responsibility for motivation lies with the manager or team leader.

Motives are needs that we are driven to fulfill. Motivation directs behavioral choices to help us meet those needs. The things that motivate us arise from who we are, our history, and the situation we are in.

RECOMMENDED EXERCISE
======================
1. Notice your own behavioral choices. When you are faced with different options, what influences you to make the choices you do make? Reflect on your experiences over the next week or so, and make notes in your journal, notebook, or workbook. (3 MC CPD Points)
